Beijing Dog Rescue: Baliang

Baling_2 Baliang, 8 months old, weighed 2/5 of a kilo when she was abandoned at BHAEEC. Volunteers were just returning from an outing when they entered BHAEEC and heard noises around the gate area. They followed the sound and found Baliang in a milk box. Her back was rotten, and gave out a very bad smell. Everyone was shocked how bad she looked. The staff guessed that she had probably been burnt, and then with no treatment, her wounds got worse and worse. She was put into the gate through a gap between the gate and the ground. She has now recovered well and is a very lively character!

The Animals in Haiti Need Your Support We urgently need your donation to help IFAW's emergency relief teams on the ground in Haiti. Your donation will help us buy the bandages, vaccines, antibiotics and other supplies for our mobile veterinary clinic.

We have partnered with WSPA to mount a coordinated animal relief response, and our team has deployed into the devastated country.

Your donation will go directly into IFAW's Emergency Relief fund, and will be used immediately and where needed most to help the animal victims of Haiti and our Emergency Relief work around the world.
