Beijing Dog Rescue: Baliang
Baliang, 8 months old, weighed 2/5 of a kilo when she was abandoned at BHAEEC. Volunteers were just returning from an outing when they entered BHAEEC and heard noises around the gate area. They followed the sound and found Baliang in a milk box. Her back was rotten, and gave out a very bad smell. Everyone was shocked how bad she looked. The staff guessed that she had probably been burnt, and then with no treatment, her wounds got worse and worse. She was put into the gate through a gap between the gate and the ground. She has now recovered well and is a very lively character!
