IFAW's Whale Plane recently traveled the country to raise awareness of the plight of humpback whales, which are being targeted by Japan's whaling program in 2007/2008.  Representatives from 75 nations are convening for this week's annual meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in Anchorage, Alaska to help decide the fate of the world's whales.  The IFAW whale team is there now. Read daily updates from this critical meeting on IFAW's Song of the Whale Blog at StopWhaling.org.
