India Animal Rescue: Massive Flooding Endangers Thousands of Animals

IFAW Emergency Relief Responder Wit Davis.
Emergency Relief Responders from the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) have traveled to India following massive flooding that has destroyed roads, villages, livestock and killed a number of people.

The Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), The Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) and IFAW are working together to help aid marooned and injured animals during this emergency.

Reports below are from Wit Davis and Michael Booth, two members of IFAW's ER Responder team.  These teams respond to crises around the world to rescue pets and animals in danger.
