2 Million Flee Flooding in India - IFAW & WTI are There

The Northern State of Bihar in India is experiencing the worst floods in their history. An estimated 2 million people have been forced to evacuate since the Kosi River breached a dam in Nepal that shifted the water flow, inundating a huge area of farm lands. Reports indicate that at least 2000 people have died so far, the actual number could be much higher.
IFAW and the Wildlife Trust of India are on the ground conducting assessments on the conditions and needs of animals affected by this disaster and look to provide valuable veterinary treatment and de-worming medicine for predominantly cattle, buffalo, and goats.
